After meeting at a party, Asheton and Gary had what they called an “instant connection” and several perfect dates following shortly after. Once Gary proposed at the North Carolina Arboretum, the couple chose The Old Cigar Warehouse for their big day.
Asheton and Gary’s vision for their December wedding was a winter festival, but with an edge. For example, their intro was complete with leather jackets and aviators, the bridesmaids had black dresses paired with red roses and the reception decor had pops of dark colors with red and green.
Thanks to Getz Creative Photography, one of our preferred vendors, the couple was able to relive their celebration through some gorgeous photography. It’s not hard to see that this was one fun group!
Asheton, owner of RockerBelles Boutique, created red, jute bag favors with paper tags, and led the vision for a wintry-wonderland backdrop for the ceremony. Garland, pine wreaths and festive signs enhanced their winter theme throughout the entire venue. Plus, those red Converse sneakers, burgundy shawl and rocker chick jewelry went perfectly with her personality and the overall look of the wedding.
Thanks again to Asheton and Gary for bringing your unique wedding to our venue – we loved seeing the space transformed in this way!
